RAe Leigh Bio

Rae Leigh is a country Christian singer-songwriter from Australia whose music is a heartfelt blend of faith, storytelling, and soulful vulnerability. With a powerful voice and a mission to uplift, Rae’s songs explore real human experiences—offering messages of hope, healing, and the kind of grace that only comes through lived truth.

Since stepping onto the scene at the Tamworth Country Music Festival’s 50th anniversary in 2022, Rae has continued to rise as one of Australia's most sincere and relatable voices in country music. She’s headlined major festivals like Groundwater, appeared on NBC’s Young Rock performing Dwight Yoakam’s Honky Tonk Man, and released multiple charting singles including Push Em Up Jill (#1 on Australian Country Radio), Blue Shoes, and Love Me.

In 2024, Rae co-wrote and released Country Pride—the official theme song for the acclaimed documentary Bravery and Betrayal, which tells the stories of returned SAS soldiers from Afghanistan. The song draws from Rae’s own life as the daughter of a Vietnam veteran and tunnel rat, honouring the deep sacrifices of servicemen and their families with heartfelt reverence and pride.

Her most recent release, Into The Dream, is just the beginning of something much bigger. It's the first glimpse of a global, multimedia artistic project that has been years in the making—featuring original music, cinematic music videos, a documentary film, and a book. This creative movement is a call to community: to those who still believe in love, humanity, peace, and the healing power of art. With collaborators from around the world, Rae and her Dream Team are building a body of work designed to bring people together and spark global conversations around recovery, faith, connection, and purpose.

Beyond the stage and studio, Rae is deeply committed to arts leadership and advocacy. In 2024, she was appointed as a board observer with the Phonographic Performance Company of Australia (PPCA), gaining invaluable mentorship and experience in governance, industry advocacy, and diplomacy in the arts. At the same time, she began building strong relationships with members of the Recording Academy in the U.S., where she’s found mentorship, encouragement, and inspiration from fellow artists and industry leaders dedicated to uniting creative communities.

In 2025, Rae attended the GRAMMY Awards in Los Angeles, further cementing her international artistic presence. She returns to the U.S. in July and will travel to England in August to continue strengthening her global creative collaborations and community ties.

As the founder of the Songwriter Trysts podcast—with over 260 episodes featuring artists from around the world—Rae has created a space for songwriters to share their stories and connect with others on the same journey. Her advocacy extends to mental health, creative rights, and child protection, and her work with charities such as Raising Brighter Futures and The Ark continues to reflect her passion for service.

Whether she’s performing at major festivals, local community events, aged care homes, or intimate songwriter circles, Rae Leigh brings the same unshakable warmth and faith-filled purpose to everything she does.

With Into The Dream, Rae invites you to walk beside her into a movement of healing, creativity, and hope. Whether through music, media coverage, financial support, or shared belief in her mission—this is your invitation to be part of something meaningful from the ground up.
